Title: Consider recommendations regarding a First Amendment to the Agreement with Journal Technologies, Inc. for New Case Management System (eProsecutor), as follows: a) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement with Journal Technologies, Inc. to provide case management software, implementation services, and systems maintenance to the District Attorney's Office, which includes: i) One-time implementation and interface development costs in the amount of $305,000.00; and ii) Annualized maintenance fees in the amount of $135,500.00 for the initial effective year of Amendment No. 1 (Fiscal Year 2024-2025), and adjusted each year thereafter pursuant to the Consumer Price Index (CPI) not to exceed 4% annually; and b) Determine that the above recommended actions are not the approval of a project that is subject to environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15378(b)(4), finding that the project i...

Title

Consider recommendations regarding a First Amendment to the Agreement with Journal Technologies, Inc. for New Case Management System (eProsecutor), as follows:

 

a) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement with Journal Technologies, Inc. to provide case management software, implementation services, and systems maintenance to the District Attorney’s Office, which includes:

 

i) One-time implementation and interface development costs in the amount of $305,000.00; and

 

ii) Annualized maintenance fees in the amount of $135,500.00 for the initial effective year of Amendment No. 1 (Fiscal Year 2024-2025), and adjusted each year thereafter pursuant to the Consumer Price Index (CPI) not to exceed 4% annually; and

 

b) Determine that the above recommended actions are not the approval of a project that is subject to environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15378(b)(4), finding that the project is a creation of government funding mechanisms or other government fiscal activities, which do not involve any commitment to any specific project which may result in a potentially significant physical impact on the environment.
