Title: Consider recommendations regarding County Telephone and Data Communications Microwave System Installation, Contract Amendment, as follows: a) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute the First Amendment to the Agreement with Alcatel Lucent USA Inc., 600 Mountain Avenue, Murray Hill, NJ (not a local vendor) for the County Telephone and Data Communications Microwave System Installation, Board Contract BC-15103, amending the Contract to increase the amount of the agreement by $91,548.00 to expand the number of sites serviced by the system, to extend the end date from June 30, 2015 to June 30, 2016; and amending the not to exceed amount to $250,833.00; and b) Determine that the proposed project is exempt from the provisions of California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to State CEQA Guidelines Section 15301, as it involves the operation and maintenance of County equipment that will result in no or negligible expansion of existing use and direct staff to file a Notice of E...
