Consider recommendations regarding Tuberculosis Control Program - Revenue Base Award and Special Needs Award, as follows: (4/5 Vote Required)
a) Approve and authorize the Public Health Department Director to execute acceptance of the Base Award for tuberculosis (TB) prevention and control activities in the amount of $156,665.00, and allotment of up to $9,504.00 for Food, Shelter, Incentives and Enablers (FSIE) expenditures, from the California Department of Public Health Tuberculosis Control Branch for the period of July 1, 2014 through June 30, 2015 for a total amount not to exceed $166,169.00;
b) Approve and authorize the Public Health Director to execute the amended Special Needs Acceptance of Award for the Tuberculosis Control Program with the California Department of Public Health Tuberculosis Control Branch to support tuberculosis special needs for the period of July 1, 2014 through December 31, 2014 in the amount of $54,681.00;
c) Approve Budget Revision Request (BRR) No. BJE 0003595 reflecting an increase of $29,763.00 to the TB Base and FSIE award, and $54,681.00 to establish the TB Special Needs Award. The BRR will increase the unanticipated revenue from State and Federal sources, and expenditures for Extra Help, Services and Supplies, and Motor Pool in the County's financial system; and
d) Determine that these activities are not a project under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and are exempt from environmental review per CEQA Guideline Section 15378(b)(4), since they are a government fiscal activity that does not involve a commitment to a specific project that may result in a potentially significant effect on the environment.
