Title
Consider recommendations regarding Institute for Mental Disease Amendments: Merced Behavioral Center, Fiscal Year (FY) 2017-2020 and Vista Pacifica Enterprises FY 2019-2020, as follows:
a) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute the Fourth Amendment to the Agreement BC 18-081 for services of Independent Contractor with Merced Behavioral, LLC, a California limited liability company, dba Merced Behavioral Center (not a local vendor) FY 2017-2020, an Institution for Mental Disease, to increase the FY 2019-2020 contract by $450,000.00 for a total contract amount not to exceed $2,819,585.00 for the period of July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2020;
b) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute a First Amendment to the Agreement BC 19-283 for Services of Independent Contractor with Vista Pacifica Enterprises, Inc., a California corporation (not a local vendor) an Institute for Mental Disease and a Skilled Nursing Facility to increase the FY 2019-2020 contract by $380,000.00 for a total contract amount not to exceed $1,380,000.00 for the period of July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020; and
c) Determine that these activities are exempt from California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) review per CEQA Guidelines Section 15378(b)(4) since the recommended actions are government fiscal activities, which do not involve any commitment to any specific project which may result in a potentially significant physical impact on the environment.
