Consider recommendations regarding the contribution of $20,000.00 to the Isla Vista Community Services District (IVCSD) for the Isla Vista bluff memorial installation, as follows: (4/5 Vote Required)

 

a) Approve and authorize a contribution of $20,000.00 to the IVCSD for the installation of the Isla Vista bluff memorial, funded by the Second District’s Discretionary Funds held in General County Programs General Fund Committed Emerging Issues fund balance;

 

b) Approve Budget Revision Request No. 1618 to establish appropriations of $20,000.00 in General County Programs General Fund for Services and Supplies, funded by release of Committed Emerging Issues fund balance;

 

c) Find that the above project meets the social needs of the population of the community; and
