Title: Consider recommendations regarding approval of the Emergency Medical Care Committee (EMCC) adopted Bylaws and Appointments, as follows: a) Approve Bylaws for the EMCC adopted by unanimous consent of EMCC members in attendance on July 16, 2025; b) Appoint two new committee members to the EMCC as follows: i) Garrett Huff, County Fire District representative, Santa Barbara County Fire District; and ii) Dave Schierman, private ambulance provider representative, American Medical Response; c) Affirm the appointment of Ryland McCracken, Montecito Fire District, on November 5, 2024, as the Public Agency Paramedic appointment by the County Health Director to correct a clerical error on the listed public agency; and d) Determine the above actions do not constitute a "Project" subject to environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines section 15378(b)(5), as the actions are organizational or administrative activities that will not r...

Consider recommendations regarding approval of the Emergency Medical Care Committee (EMCC) adopted Bylaws and Appointments, as follows:

 

a) Approve Bylaws for the EMCC adopted by unanimous consent of EMCC members in attendance on July 16, 2025; 

 

b) Appoint two new committee members to the EMCC as follows:

 

i) Garrett Huff, County Fire District representative, Santa Barbara County Fire District; and

 

ii) Dave Schierman, private ambulance provider representative, American Medical Response;
