Title: Consider recommendations regarding an Award Contract for Countywide Security Services to Triumph Protection Group, as follows: a) Find, in accordance with Government Code Section 31000, that the County does not have employee resources to complete the security services to be completed by Triumph Protection Group and that the County's economic interests are served by the contracts; b) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute the Agreement with Triumph Protection Group (a local vendor) in the amount not-to-exceed $3,357,160.00 to provide Countywide armed and unarmed security services as noted on the contract for a period of two (2) years to begin October 1, 2020 and end September 30, 2022 with two (2) two-year options to renew extensions; c) Authorize the Director of General Services to approve Amendments to this Agreement within the amount not to exceed $167,858.00 (5% of contract amount); and d) Find that the proposed action does not constitute a "Project" within the meaning of th...

Title

Consider recommendations regarding an Award Contract for Countywide Security Services to Triumph Protection Group, as follows:

 

a) Find, in accordance with Government Code Section 31000, that the County does not have employee resources to complete the security services to be completed by Triumph Protection Group and that the County’s economic interests are served by the contracts;

 

b) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute the Agreement with Triumph Protection Group (a local vendor) in the amount not-to-exceed $3,357,160.00 to provide Countywide armed and unarmed security services as noted on the contract for a period of two (2) years to begin October 1, 2020 and end September 30, 2022 with two (2) two-year options to renew extensions;

d) Find that the proposed action does not constitute a “Project” within the meaning of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to 14 CCR Section 15301: Maintenance of existing facilities.
