Title: Consider recommendations regarding the acceptance of the Office of Community Oriented Policing (the COPS Office), for the Law Enforcement Mental Health and Wellness Act (LEMHWA) grant, as follows: (4/5 Vote Required). a) Approve, ratify, and authorize the Sheriff, or his designee, to accept the Department of Health Care Services grant for Expanding MAT in County Criminal Justice Settings: A Learning Collaborative in the amount of $70,000.00; b) Approve Budget Revision Request No. 0008146 necessary to adjust appropriations for the receipt of unanticipated grant revenues in the amount of $70,000.00; and c) Determine that the above action is not a project pursuant to California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines Section 15378(b)(4), as it is the creation of a government funding mechanism or other government fiscal activity, which does not involve any commitment to any specific project which may result in a potentially significant physical impact on the environment.
