Title: Consider recommendations regarding a First Amendment to the Cooperative Agreement for Construction of Improvements on San Jose Creek, Third District, as follows: Acting as the Board of Directors, Flood Control and Water Conservation District: a) Approve and authorize the Public Works Director or designee to execute the First Amendment to the Cooperative Agreement for Construction of Improvements on San Jose Creek with the City of Goleta, to incorporate the details of the Hollister Avenue Bridge Project and the Fish Passage Modification Project; and b) Determine that executing an Amendment to the Cooperative Agreement is an organizational and administrative activity that will not result in changes in the environment, and therefore the action does not constitute a "Project" within the meaning of California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), pursuant to State CEQA Guidelines Section 15378(b)(5).

Consider recommendations regarding a First Amendment to the Cooperative Agreement for Construction of Improvements on San Jose Creek, Third District, as follows:

 

Acting as the Board of Directors, Flood Control and Water Conservation District:

 

a) Approve and authorize the Public Works Director or designee to execute the First Amendment to the Cooperative Agreement for Construction of Improvements on San Jose Creek with the City of Goleta, to incorporate the details of the Hollister Avenue Bridge Project and the Fish Passage Modification Project; and

 

b) Determine that executing an Amendment to the Cooperative Agreement is an organizational and administrative activity that will not result in changes in the environment, and therefore the action does not constitute a “Project” within the meaning of California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), pursuant to State CEQA Guidelines Section 15378(b)(5).
