HEARING - Consider appointments of members to the Children and Families Commission of Santa Barbara, as follows: (EST. TIME: 10 MIN.)
a) Appoint a member of the Board of Supervisors as a regular member of the Children and Families Commission of Santa Barbara County for the term of July 1, 2001 through June 30, 2002;
b) Appoint a member of the Board of Supervisors as an alternate member of the Children and Families Commission of Santa Barbara County for the term of July 1, 2001 through June 30, 2002;
c) Appoint the Incoming Director of Alcohol, Drug and Mental Health James L. Broderick to one of the three regular "County Members" of the Children and Families Commission of Santa Barbara County for the term of July 1, 2001 through June 30, 2002;
d) Reappoint Health Officer Elliot Schulman M.D., and the Director of Social Services Charlene Chase to two of the three regular "County Members" of the Children and Families Commission of Santa Barbara County for the term of July 1, 2001 through June 30, 2002;
e) Reappoint Rita Madden as a Regular Community Member of the Children and Families Commission of Santa Barbara County for the term of July 1, 2001 through June 30, 2003;
f) Appoint Alternate Community Member Hugo Lara as a Regular Community Member to replace Felicity Hodder, M.D. whose term expired June 30, 2001.
