Adopt a resolution effective December 4, 2006,
Establishing the following classifications in the Custody Deputy job series in the Sheriff's Department:
Custody Commander, Class 002105, Range 6768 ($7,094-$8,660 per month);
Custody Deputy, Class 002106, Range 5502 ($3,773-$4,606 per month);
Custody Deputy S/Duty, Class 002107, Range 5602 ($3,966-$4,841 per month);
Custody Lieutenant, Class 002108, Range 6488 ($6,169-$7,531 per month);
Custody Sergeant, Class 002109, Range 5902 ($4,606-$5,623 per month); and
Reallocating positions from the Corrections Officer series into the new Custody Deputy series as follows:
Reallocate: 135.0 FTE Custody Deputy (Class 002105) from Sheriff's Corrections Officer (Class 006900)
Reallocate: 31.0 FTE Custody Deputy or Custody Deputy-Special Duty (002105 or 2106) from Sheriff's Corrections Officer or Sheriff's Corrections Officer - Special Duty (Class 006900 or 6901)
Reallocate: 17.0 FTE Custody Sergeant (Class 002109) from Sheriff's Corrections Sergeant (Class 006903)
Reallocate: 8.0 FTE Custody Lieutenant (Class 002108) from Sheriff's Corrections Lieutenant (Class 006898)
Reallocate: 1.0 FTE Custody Commander (Class 002107) from Sheriff's Corrections Commander (Class 006896)
