Title: Consider recommendations regarding Authorizing the Submittal of an Application for a State of California Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle) Rubberized Pavement Grant, as follows: a) Adopt a Resolution to establish authority for the Public Works Transportation Division to submit an application to CalRecycle for a Rubberized Pavement Grant; b) Authorize the Director of Public Works or designee to execute in the name of the County of Santa Barbara any grant documents, including but not limited to, applications, agreements, amendments and requests for payment, necessary to secure grant funds and implement the approved grant project; c) Establish that this authorization is effective for five (5) years from the date of adoption of the Resolution; and d) Find that the proposed action does not constitute a "Project" within the meaning of California Environmental Quality Act, pursuant to 14 CCR 15378(b) (4) (The creation of government funding mechanisms or other g...

Title

Consider recommendations regarding Authorizing the Submittal of an Application for a State of California Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle) Rubberized Pavement Grant, as follows:

 

a) Adopt a Resolution to establish authority for the Public Works Transportation Division to submit an application to CalRecycle for a Rubberized Pavement Grant;

 

b) Authorize the Director of Public Works or designee to execute in the name of the County of Santa Barbara any grant documents, including but not limited to, applications, agreements, amendments and requests for payment, necessary to secure grant funds and implement the approved grant project;

 

c) Establish that this authorization is effective for five (5) years from the date of adoption of the Resolution; and

 

d) Find that the proposed action does not constitute a “Project” within the meaning of California Environmental Quality Act, pursuant to 14 CCR 15378(b) (4) (The creation of government funding mechanisms or other government fiscal activities which do not involve any commitment to any specific project which may result in a potentially significant physical impact on the environment.).
