Title:

Consider recommendations regarding a First Amendment to Agreement with Fighting Back Santa Maria Valley for Fiscal Years (FYs) 2025-2027, as follows:
a) Approve, ratify, and authorize the Chair to execute a First Amendment to Agreement for Services of Independent Contractor with Fighting Back Santa Maria Valley, (BC 24330) to extend the performance term to June 30, 2027, and to increase the contract total by $1,277,419.00, from $914,317.00 to $2,191,736.00 due to services being added and the contract being extended. Ratified modifications include the Restorative Justice Program cost transitioning to funding two full-time equivalent (FTE) beginning January 15, 2026, and adding two FTE Youth Programming Specialists beginning January 15, 2026; and
b) Determine that the above-recommended action is not a project that is subject to environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to the CEQA Guidelines section 15378(b)(4), finding that the actions are go...
