Title: Consider recommendations regarding a contract extension for Satellite Tracking of People, LLC (STOP), as follows: a) Approve and authorize, the Chair to execute the Third Amendment to the agreement for services with STOP (not a local vendor) (BC17135) for electronic monitoring services for the Sheriff's Office for the period effective September 1, 2022 through August 31, 2023; and b) Determine that the above actions are not a project under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to section 15378(b)(5) of the CEQA Guidelines, because they consist of administrative activities of government that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes in the environment.
