Title

Consider recommendations regarding California Reportable Disease Information Exchange (CalREDIE) System Data Use and Disclosure Agreement, as follows:

 

a) Approve and authorize the County Health Department Health Officer to execute a Date Use Agreement between the County Health Department and the California Department of Public Health for participation in the CalREDIE system for a period of three years;

 

b) Approve and authorize the County Health Officer to extend the Agreement between the County Health Department and the California Department of Public Health for an additional three-year term in accordance with Section XVIII upon review and concurrence by Risk Management and County Counsel’s Office, subject to the Board’s ability to rescind this delegation at any time; and

 

c) Determine that the recommended actions are not a “Project” within the meaning of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and is exempt per CEQA Guideline Section 15378(b)(4) since the recommended actions are government fiscal activities that do not involve commitment to any specific project which may result in a potentially significant physical impact on the environment.
