Title: Consider recommendations regarding the adoption of the Resolution authorizing the Chief Probation Officer to apply for Juvenile Accountability Block Grant (JABG) funding from the Board of State and Community Corrections (BSCC) for Fiscal Year (FY) 2015-2016, as follows: a) Adopt the Resolution that authorizes the Chief Probation Officer or designee to submit, sign, and accept JABG funding in the amount of $27,612.00 for the period July 1, 2015, through June 30, 2016, from the BSCC; and b) Determine that the adoption of the Resolution is not the approval of a project that is subject to environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines section 15378(b)(4), finding that the adoption of the Resolution is not a project as it is the creation of government funding mechanisms or other government fiscal activities which do not involve any commitment to any specific project which may result in a potentially significant impact on the env...

Consider recommendations regarding the adoption of the Resolution authorizing the Chief Probation Officer to apply for Juvenile Accountability Block Grant (JABG) funding from the Board of State and Community Corrections (BSCC) for Fiscal Year (FY) 2015-2016, as follows:

 

a) Adopt the Resolution that authorizes the Chief Probation Officer or designee to submit, sign, and accept JABG funding in the amount of $27,612.00 for the period July 1, 2015, through June 30, 2016, from the BSCC; and

 

b) Determine that the adoption of the Resolution is not the approval of a project that is subject to environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines section 15378(b)(4), finding that the adoption of the Resolution is not a project as it is the creation of government funding mechanisms or other government fiscal activities which do not involve any commitment to any specific project which may result in a potentially significant impact on the environment, and direct staff to file the Notice of Exemption.
