Consider recommendations regarding the First Amendment to the Services Agreement with Vista Pacifica Enterprises, Inc. (VPE) for Skilled Nursing Facility Services for Fiscal Years (FYs) 2023-2026, as follows:
a) Approve, ratify, and authorize the Chair to execute a First Amendment to the Agreement for Services of Independent Contractor (Board Contract [BC] No. 23-148) with VPE (not a local vendor) to increase the contract amount by $165,000.00 for a revised, total maximum contract amount not to exceed $4,965,000.00, inclusive of $1,550,000.00 for Fiscal Year (FY) 2023-2024, $1,600,000.00 for FY 2024-2025, and $1,815,000.00 for FY 2025-2026, resulting in no change to the contract term of July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2026; and
b) Determine that the above-recommended action is not a project that is subject to environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), pursuant to CEQA Guidelines section 15378(b)(4), finding that the action is a governmental funding mec...
