Title: Consider recommendations regarding authorization to receive State Housing and Homelessness Incentive Program (HHIP) Funds, as follows: a) Ratify, approve and authorize the Community Services Department (CSD) Director, or designee, to execute, on behalf of the County as the lead agency of the Santa Barbara County Continuum of Care (CoC), a HHIP Funding Agreement between the CoC and the Santa Barbara San Luis Obispo Regional Health Authority, doing business as CenCal Health (CenCal), governing the use of $200,000.00 in Round 3 State HHIP Funds to support the Prevention, Diversion, and Rehousing Program (PDR); b) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute an Agreement (HHIP Sub-Recipient Agreement with Good Samaritan Shelter for Prevention, Diversion, Rehousing) for a total contract amount not to exceed $110,000.00; and c) Determine that the approval of the recommended actions is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) per CEQA Guidelines Section 15378(b)(4) since t...

Title

Consider recommendations regarding authorization to receive State Housing and Homelessness Incentive Program (HHIP) Funds, as follows:

 

a) Ratify, approve and authorize the Community Services Department (CSD) Director, or designee, to execute, on behalf of the County as the lead agency of the Santa Barbara County Continuum of Care (CoC), a HHIP Funding Agreement between the CoC and the Santa Barbara San Luis Obispo Regional Health Authority, doing business as CenCal Health (CenCal), governing the use of $200,000.00 in Round 3 State HHIP Funds to support the Prevention, Diversion, and Rehousing Program (PDR);

c) Determine that the approval of the recommended actions is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) per CEQA Guidelines Section 15378(b)(4) since the recommended actions are government fiscal activities which do not involve commitment to any specific project which may result in potentially significant physical impact on the environment.
