Title

Consider recommendations regarding an Agreement for Services of Independent Contractor with Frontier Communications of America, Inc. (Frontier), as follows:

 

a) Authorize and approve the Chief Information Officer (CIO), or his designee, to execute the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) Trunking Schedule S-0000441499 (Schedule) to the Board-Approved Frontier Services Agreement with Frontier executed May 7, 2024, for the County’s telephone services for a Schedule amount of $666,515.00, beginning May 7, 2025, through May 6, 2027;

 

b) Approve and authorize the CIO, or his designee, to order additional services under the Schedule and to cover increases in taxes, tariffs, and other fees during the Term in an amount not to exceed 5% of the total contract amount, or $33,164.40; and

 

c) Determine that the above recommended action is a government funding mechanism or other government fiscal activity, which does not involve any commitment to any specific project that may result in a potentially significant physical impact on the environment and is therefore not a project under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to section 15378(b)(4) of the CEQA Guidelines.
