Title: Consider recommendations regarding the Acceptance of a Donation of Investigative Equipment from Merakai, LLC dba MOS Equipment, as follows: (4/5 Vote Required) a) Accept a donation of $11,009.00 in technical equipment from Merakai, LLC dba MOS Equipment for the Santa Barbara District Attorney's Office Bureau of Investigations; b) Approve Budget Revision Request No. 0009568 to increase appropriations of $11,000.00 in District Attorney General Fund for Services and Supplies (upgraded CIB equipment) funded by a donation of equipment from MOS Equipment; and c) Determine that the above recommended actions are exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15378(b)(4), because they consist of government funding mechanisms or other government fiscal activities, which do not involve any commitment to any specific project which may result in a potentially significant physical impact on the environment.
