(Attachment B) c) Support SB 1520 (Ortiz, D-Sacramento) Public Nutrition. SB 1520 would prohibit the sale of carbonated beverages to pupils in the elementary schools commencing in 2004, to pupils in middle or junior high schools commencing in 2005, and to pupils in high school commencing in 2007.
