Title: Consider recommendations regarding authorizing the Public Works Director to execute Emergency Assistance Agreements with State and Federal Agencies, First District, as follows: Acting as the Board of Directors, Flood Control and Water Conservation District: a) Approve and authorize the Public Works Director or his designee to execute Emergency Assistance Agreements with the United States Department of the Army Corps of Engineers, State of California, and the United States Department of Agriculture Natural Resources Conservation Service for assistance relating to the impacts of the Thomas Fire upon review by County Counsel, Risk Management, County Executive Office, and Auditor-Controller; and b) Determine that the proposed actions are administrative and other fiscal activities that do not involve commitment to any specific project, and are therefore not a project as defined by State California Environmental Quality Act Guidelines Sections 15378 (b)(4) and (5).
