Title: HEARING - Consider recommendations regarding an overview of Offshore Oil and Gas Development, the draft proposed Five-Year Outer Continental Shelf Leasing Program, and Minerals Management Service Rulemaking, as follows: (EST. TIME: 1 HR.) a) Receive and file an overview of offshore oil and gas development from the Energy Division; b) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute a comment letter, opposing the draft Five-Year Outer Continental Shelf Leasing Program proposed by the United States Department of the Interior; and c) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute a comment letter, supporting rulemaking proposed by the Minerals Management Service that seeks to require all offshore operators to implement a Safety and Environmental Management System.
