HEARING - Consider recommendations regarding the 2026 Community Services Department Homelessness Update to the Board of Supervisors, as follows: (EST. TIME: 1 HR.)

 

a) Receive and file a presentation on homelessness in the County of Santa Barbara to ensure compliance with State of California and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requirements, including:

 

i) 2026 Sheltered Point in Time Count and Housing Inventory Count;

 

ii) Review of calendar year 2025 Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) data;

 

iii) Encampment Resolution Strategy Progress Report;

 

iv) Local, State, and Federal funding to address homelessness overview; and

 

v) The future of homelessness response in the County; and
