Title: Consider recommendations regarding a First Amendment to Subrecipient Agreement with Good Samaritan Shelter, as follows: a) Approve and authorize the Chair of the Board of Supervisors to execute a First Amendment to the Subrecipient Agreement between the County and Good Samaritan Shelter, to add Federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding in the amount of $500,000.00 for Prevention, Shelter Diversion and Re-Housing programs for persons who are at risk of losing housing or have recently lost housing; and b) Determine that the above recommended actions are exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines section 15378(b)(4) as the actions involve the creation of government funding mechanisms or other government fiscal activities which do not involve a commitment to any specific project which may result in a potentially significant physical impact on the environment.
