Title: Consider recommendations regarding approval of Subrecipient Agreement to extend the Housing and Disability Advocacy Program utilizing HOME-American Rescue Plan (HOME-ARP) funds in Santa Barbara County, as follows: a) Approve and authorize the Chair of the Board of Supervisors to execute a Subrecipient Agreement for the distribution of HOME-ARP funds to Good Samaritan Shelter (GSS), allocating $6,964.00 in HOME-ARP funds for ongoing services as part of the local Housing and Disability Advocacy Program (HDAP), to be fully expended by December 31, 2025; and b) Determine that the above recommended action is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA") pursuant to CEQA Guidelines section 15378(b)(4) as the recommended action involves government fiscal activities which do not involve a commitment to any specific project which may result in a potentially significant physical impact on the environment.
