Consider recommendations regarding Amendment No. 4 with CenCal Health to provide health benefits to qualified in-home caregivers, as follows:
a) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute Amendment No. 4 to the Agreement with CenCal Health to provide health benefits to qualified in-home caregivers who provide care to customers of the In-Home Supportive Services Program, for a Contract increase of $613,000.00 and extension of two months until February 28, 2014. The total Contract amount will not exceed $2,704,429.00 for the period of January 1, 2013 through February 28, 2014, unless amended or terminated by either party. The Contract may be extended an additional four (4) months for the period of March 1, 2014 through June 30, 2014 for an amount not to exceed $676,000.00, unless amended or terminated by either party; and
b) Determine under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines Section 15061 (b) (3) that this activity is exempt from review on the basis that it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that the activity may have a significant effect on the environment.
