Title: Consider recommendations regarding a request for extension of the comment period on Environmental Assessment regarding Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Indians 6.9 Acre Fee to Trust Acquisition, as follows: a) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute a letter to the Department of the Interior, Bureau of Indian Affairs requesting a thirty day extension of time for both the County and the public to comment on the Environmental Assessment for the proposed 6.9 acre fee-to-trust acquisition, and that the Department of the Interior hold a local public hearing on the Environmental Assessment; b) Authorize the Chair to execute a comment letter to the Department of the Interior, Bureau of Indian Affairs, in the event that County's request for an extension is denied.
