Consider recommendations regarding Penal Code (PC) 1000 Revenue Agreements and Extensions, as follows:
a) Approve, ratify, and authorize the Chair to execute a revenue Agreement through which the County will certify Aegis Institute, Inc. (a local vendor) as a PC 1000 Drug Diversion Program provider, and Aegis Institute, Inc. will pay the County an administrative fee of $50.00 for each client served through the PC 1000 program for the period July 1, 2014 through June 30, 2017, for a projected revenue of $1,000.00 per year;
b) Approve, ratify, and authorize the Chair to execute an Amendment to the existing revenue Agreement for PC 1000 services with the Coast Valley Substance Abuse Treatment Center, extending the term through June 30, 2017 and expanding their delivery service area to include Lompoc and Santa Maria, for projected revenue of $1,000.00 per year;
c) Approve, ratify, and authorize the Chair to execute an Amendment to the existing revenue Agreement for PC 1000 and Driving Under the Influence (DUI) Program services with the Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse, extending the term through June 30, 2017, for projected revenue of $1,000.00 per year from PC 1000 services;
d) Approve, ratify, and authorize the Chair to execute an Amendment to the existing revenue Agreement for PC 1000 and DUI Program services with Zona Seca, Inc, extending the term through June 30, 2017, for projected revenue of $1,000.00 per year from PC 1000 services;
e) Approve, ratify, and authorize the Chair to execute an Amendment to continue only the DUI Revenue Agreement through June 30, 2016; ending the PC 1000 portion of the Contract with Central Coast Headway as of July 1, 2014, in accordance with the PC 1000 Drug Diversion Program RFP process; and
f) Determine that these activities are exempt from California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) review per CEQA Guideline Section 15378(b)(4), as government fiscal activities that do not involve commitment to a spec...
