Consider recommendations regarding the construction of the Ballard Canyon Landfill Gas Collection and Control System, Project No. 720601, Third District, as follows: (01-21,912)
a) Approve plans and specifications for the construction of the project;
b) Award and authorize the Chair to execute the construction contract in the amount of $323,252.45 to the lowest responsible bidder, LFG&E International (not a local vendor), subject to the provision of documents and certification as set forth in the plans and specifications applicable to the project and as required under California law;
c) Approve a contingency fund in the amount of $28,662.62 for construction of the project.
