Title
Consider recommendations regarding Contract Amendments for Community Environmental Council and Quail Springs Regarding Resilient Cuyama Valley Initiative, First District, as follows:
a) Approve and authorize the Chair of the Board to execute the first amendment to the Agreement for Services of Independent Contractor with Community Environmental Council to amend the contract term from August 30, 2026, to March 31, 2027;
b) Approve and authorize the Chair of the Board to execute the first amendment to the Agreement for Services of Independent Contractor with True Nature Society dba Quail Springs to amend the contract term from August 30, 2026, to March 31, 2027; and
c) Determine that the recommended actions do not constitute a project subject to environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15301 as the actions consist of the operation, repair, maintenance, permitting, leasing, licensing, or minor alteration of existing public or private structures, facilities, mechanical equipment, or topographical features, involving negligible or no expansion of existing or former use.
