Title: Consider recommendations regarding a Public Health Pandemic and Emergency Preparedness Grant, as follows: a) Approve, ratify, and authorize the Public Health Department Director to execute amendment A01 to Agreement No. 17-10193 with the California Department of Public Health Emergency Preparedness Office to increase the funding amount by $78,890.00 from $3,156,945.00 to $3,235,835.00 for the Public Health Emergency Preparedness, State General Fund Pandemic Influenza, and Hospital Preparedness Program grants without changing the period of performance of July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2022; and b) Determine that the above activity is not a "project" within the meaning of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and is therefore exempt per CEQA Guideline Section 15378(b)(4), since the recommended action is a government fiscal activities which does not involve commitment to any specific project which may result in a potentially significant physical impact on the environment.
