Title: Consider recommendations regarding a proposed advocacy support position on H.R. 731 (Carbajal) regarding the California Clean Coast Act, as follows: a) Take a support advocacy position on H.R. 731 (Carbajal) - California Clean Coast Act; and direct staff to authorize the Chair to sign a letter stating the Board's support position to the congressional author, members of Congress including, but not limited to, the federal legislative delegation, and appropriate committee chairs; and b) Determine pursuant to California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guideline 15378(b)(5) that the above action is not a project subject to CEQA review because it is an administrative activity that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes in the environment.
