Title
Consider recommendations regarding the Santa Maria Public Health Lobby Remodel, Project #8624/T02001, Fifth District, as follows:
a) Award and execute a Fixed Price Construction Contract in the amount of $241,000 to the lowest responsible bidder, Bentley Construction Group, Inc., 240 Ford Avenue, Ventura, (not a local vendor), subject to the provisions of the documents and certifications set forth in the plans and specifications applicable to the project and as required by California Law;
b) Authorize the Director of General Services to approve change orders of an amount not to exceed ten percent (10%) of the contract, or $24,100; and
c) Execute the Budget Revision (BJE #2006443) approved by the Public Health Department in the amount of $177,000, to transfer the remaining funds from Fund 0042 (Public Health) to Fund 0030 for project completion.
