Title: HEARING – Consider recommendations regarding a Comment Letter in response to the Notice of Non-Gaming Land Acquisition Application submitted by the Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Mission Indians, as follows: (EST. TIME: 45 MIN.) a) Approve and authorize the Chair to sign a Comment Letter, in response to the Notice of Non-Gaming Land Acquisition Application submitted by the Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Mission Indians and forward to the Department of the Interior, Bureau of Indian Affairs; and b) Determine pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines 15378(b)(5) that the above actions are not a project subject to CEQA review because they are government administrative activities that do not result in direct or indirect physical changes to the environment.
