Title: Consider recommendations regarding a First Amendment to the Agreement for Services of Contractor on Payroll for Fred Berge, M.D. for Fiscal Year (FY) 2025-2026, as follows: a) Approve, ratify, and authorize the Chair to execute a First Amendment to the Agreement for Services of Contractor on Payroll with Fred Berge, M.D. to extend the contract term through June 30, 2027, update certain standard provisions for compliance with State and Federal requirements or to clarify the obligations of the parties, increase paid hours for FY 2025-2026 by 200 hours for a total of 1,240 hours, add paid hours for FY 2026-2027 for a total of 1,560 hours, and increase the contract amount by $265,910.00 for a revised, total maximum contract amount not to exceed $419,910.00, inclusive of $182,442.00 for FY 2025-2026 and $237,468.00 for FY 2026-2027; and b) Determine that the above-recommended action is not a project that is subject to environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act (C...

a) Approve, ratify, and authorize the Chair to execute a First Amendment to the Agreement for Services of Contractor on Payroll with Fred Berge, M.D. to extend the contract term through June 30, 2027, update certain standard provisions for compliance with State and Federal requirements or to clarify the obligations of the parties, increase paid hours for FY 2025-2026 by 200 hours for a total of 1,240 hours, add paid hours for FY 2026-2027 for a total of 1,560 hours, and increase the contract amount by $265,910.00 for a revised, total maximum contract amount not to exceed $419,910.00, inclusive of $182,442.00 for FY 2025-2026 and $237,468.00 for FY 2026-2027; and

 

b) Determine that the above-recommended action is not a project that is subject to environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), pursuant to CEQA Guidelines section 15378(b)(4) and (b)(5), finding that the action is governmental funding mechanism and/or administrative or fiscal activity that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes in the environment.
