Consider recommendations regarding authorizing the Community Services Department to access summary criminal history information for those applicants and volunteers hired into positions having supervisory or disciplinary authority over a minor, as follows:
a) Adopt a Resolution authorizing the Community Services Department to access summary criminal history information for those applicants and volunteers hired into positions having supervisory or disciplinary authority over a minor; and
b) Determine that the above action is not a project under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15378(b)(5) of the CEQA Guidelines, because the actions consist of administrative activities of government that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes in the environment.
