Title
City of Guadalupe - Approve the requests of the City of Guadalupe, as follows:
a) Call and give notice of the holding of a general municipal election to be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 for the purpose of submitting a measure to the qualified voters of Guadalupe regarding the imposition of a special tax upon parcels located within the City of Guadalupe for the purpose of providing essential funding to protect and maintain library staffing, facilities and services, and directing the City Attorney to prepare impartial analysis thereof;
b) Call and give notice of the holding of a general municipal election to be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2012, for the purpose of submitting a measure to the qualified voters of Guadalupe regarding a change in corporate name from the City of Guadalupe to the City of Guadalupe Beach; and
c) Approve the consolidation of a General Municipal Election to be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2012, with the Statewide General Municipal Election on the same date, pursuant to Section 10403 of the Elections Code.
