Title
Consider recommendations regarding a Resolution for Santa Ynez Valley Airport Project No. 8741, Federal Aviation Administration Funding, Third District, as follows:
a) Adopt a Resolution authorizing the submittal of an application, acceptance of an allocation of funds and execution of a Grant Agreement with the State of California, Department of Transportation (CalTrans) for an Airport Improvement Program (AIP) Matching Grant of approximately $7,411.00;
b) Authorize the Director of General Services to execute the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Grant Agreement Offer No. 3-06-0243-013-2013 of approximately $148,220.00;
c) Authorize the Director of General Services to act as agent on behalf of the County of Santa Barbara pertaining to the acceptance of this Grant Allocation and the Grant Agreements;
d) Approve Budget Revision Request No. 0003110 for the design efforts related to AIP Grant 13; and
e) Find that the proposed project is categorically exempt from the provisions of CEQA pursuant to State CEQA Guidelines Section 15301(c), as it involves repair, maintenance, and minor alterations to existing structures, facilities and topographical features, involving negligible or no expansion of existing use, and approve the filing of a Notice of Exemption on that basis.
