Consider recommendations regarding Norris and Twitchell Streets Safe Routes to School Project, County Project No. 862371, Fourth District, as follows:
a) Approve the Project, Norris and Twitchell Streets Safe Routes to School, County Project No. 862373;
b) Authorize the Director of Public Works to advertise for bids to construct the Norris and Twitchell Streets Safe Routes to School Project, County Project No. 862373; and
c) Find that the proposed project consists of the operation, repair, maintenance, or minor alteration of existing public or private structures, facilities, mechanical equipment, or topographical features, involving negligible or no expansion of use beyond that previously existing, including but not limited to existing highways and streets, sidewalks, gutters, bicycle and pedestrian trails, and similar facilities that the proposed project is therefore exempt from California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to 14 CCR 15301(c) and approve the filing of a Notice of Exemption on that basis.
