Title: Consider recommendations regarding an application to pursue twelfth year allocation funding under the Juvenile Justice Crime Prevention Act, as follows: a) Authorize the Chief Probation Officer, as your lead agent, to submit the Application for Approval to the Board of State and Community Corrections (BSCC) in order to utilize funding in the amount of $1,204,519.00 allocated to Santa Barbara County under the Juvenile Justice Crime Prevention Act (JJCPA), from July 1, 2014, through June 30, 2015; b) Review and approve the County's Comprehensive Multi-agency Juvenile Justice Plan (CMJJP) Fiscal Year 2014-2015 (FY14-15) for submission to the BCSS for approval; and c) Assure that the County will adhere to the BSCC's Contract terms and statutory requirements, participate in the collection of the required data, and use grant funding to supplement and not supplant existing programs.
