Title
Consider recommendations regarding Hazardous Materials Trust Fund Grant, as follows: (4/5 Vote Required)
a) Approve and ratify the acceptance of a CUPA Forum Environmental Protection Trust fund grant in the amount of $46,357.00 for the purchase of a truck and related equipment in the Hazardous Materials (HazMat) Program;
b) Approve budget revision request No. 0003620 to establish appropriations of $46,357.00 in the Public Health Department's Hazardous Materials General Fund and to transfer $39,000.00 of appropriations to General Services Vehicle Operations Fund for the purchase of a truck and related equipment;
c) Authorize the General Services Department to purchase a truck and related equipment in the amount of $39,000.00 for the Public Health Department's Hazardous Materials program; and
d) Determine that these activities are exempt from California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) review per CEQA Guideline Section 15378(b)(4), since the recommended actions are government fiscal activities which do not involve commitment to any specific project which may result in a potentially significant physical impact on the environment.
