Title: HEARING - Consider recommendations regarding the Chumash Indian's Proposed Hotel and Casino Expansion Project, as follows: (EST. TIME: 1 HR.) a) Receive an update from the County Executive Officer regarding the Santa Ynez Band of the Chumash Indian's Proposed Hotel and Casino Expansion Project; b) Provide direction to the County Executive Officer on next steps; and c) Determine that Recommended Actions (1) and (2) above are exempt from California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15061(b)(3) because it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that those actions by the County may have a significant effect on the environment.
