a) Adopt a Resolution authorizing the Chief Probation Officer to execute and submit the Grant Award Agreement and accept the 2015 Board of State and Community Corrections, RED Grant funds in the amount of $147,940.00 for the period covering October 1, 2014 to September 30, 2015;
 
b) Approve Budget Revision Request No. 3730 recognizing $110,955.00 in current year (State/Federal) funding; the remaining $36,985.00 will be included in the Departments Fiscal Year (FY) 2015-2016 proposed budget; and
 
c) Determine that the execution and approval of the Grant Award Agreement and the acceptance of RED Grant funds is not the approval of a project that is subject to environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15378(b)(4), finding that the action is a creation of government funding mechanisms or other government fiscal activities which do not involve any commitment to any specific project which may result in a potentially significant impact on the environment, and direct staff to file a Notice of Exemption.
