Title
Consider recommendations regarding Coastal Resource Enhancement Fund (CREF) Grant Contracts, Second and Third Districts, as follows:
a) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute the Coastal Resource Enhancement Fund (CREF) Contract with the City of Santa Barbara, in the amount of $30,000.00, to conduct the Goleta Slough Lagoon Mouth Hydrologic Modeling Study, located in Goleta;
b) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute the CREF Contract with the Santa Barbara County Trails Council, in the amount of $35,000.00, to complete the Ellwood Mesa Coastal Trail Enhancement and Habitat Restoration Project, located in Goleta;
c) Determine that the allocation of the CREF grant to conduct the Goleta Slough Lagoon Mouth Hydrologic Modeling Study is exempt from California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15262 of the State Guidelines for the implementation of the California Environmental Quality Act; and
d) Determine that the allocation of the CREF grant to complete the Ellwood Mesa Coastal Trail Enhancement and Habitat Restoration Project is exempt from CEQA pursuant to Section 15262 of the State Guidelines for the implementation of the California Environmental Quality Act.
