Title: Consider recommendations regarding a Grant Application to California State Parks Office of Grants and Local Services Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) for Jalama Beach Restroom Replacement Project, Third District, as follows: a) Authorize the Director of the Community Services Department, or designee, to apply for a Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) grant from the California State Parks Office of Grants and Local Services, for the Jalama Beach Restroom Replacement Project; b) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute a Resolution Approving the Application for LWCF for the Jalama Beach Restroom Replacement Project; c) Authorize the Director of the Community Services Department, Parks Division, or designee, to execute and submit the grant application and Contract, in a form substantially similar to the LWCF draft Contract and upon review and concurrence of County Counsel, Auditor-Controller, and Risk Manager or their designees if the LWCF grant is awarded; and ...

Title
Consider recommendations regarding a Grant Application to California State Parks Office of Grants and Local Services Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) for Jalama Beach Restroom Replacement Project, Third District, as follows:
 
a) Authorize the Director of the Community Services Department, or designee, to apply for a Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) grant from the California State Parks Office of Grants and Local Services, for the Jalama Beach Restroom Replacement Project;
 
b) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute a Resolution Approving the Application for LWCF for the Jalama Beach Restroom Replacement Project;
 
c) Authorize the Director of the Community Services Department, Parks Division, or designee, to execute and submit the grant application and Contract, in a form substantially similar to the LWCF draft Contract and upon review and concurrence of County Counsel, Auditor-Controller, and Risk Manager or their designees if the LWCF grant is awarded; and
 
 
 
 
d) Determine that the submission of the grant application and Resolution is not the approval of a project that is subject to environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15378(b)(4), finding that the action is a creation of government funding mechanisms or other government fiscal activities which do not involve any commitment to any specific project which may result in a potentially significant impact on the environment, and direct staff to file a Notice of Exemption.
