HEARING - Consider recommendations regarding a Potential Advocacy Position of Legislation: SB 32 (Pavley) - California Global Warming Solutions Act of 2006: Emissions Limit, as follows: (EST. TIME: 20 MIN.)
Option 1:
a) Take an advocacy position of support, watch, or oppose on SB 32 (Pavley): California Global Warming Solutions Act of 2006: Emissions Limit;
b) Direct staff to forward, and approve and authorize the Chair to execute a letter stating the Board's decision to the legislative author, members of the legislature including, but not limited to, the County legislative delegation, and appropriate committee chairs; and
c) Determine pursuant to California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guideline 15378(b)(5) that the above action is not a project subject to CEQA review because it is an administrative activity that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes in the environment; or
Option 2:
a) Take no position on SB 32 (Pavley): California Global Warming Solutions Act of 2006: Emissions Limit; and
b) Determine pursuant to California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guideline 15378(b)(5) that the above action is not a project subject to CEQA review because it is an administrative activity that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes in the environment.
