Title: Consider recommendations regarding Santa Ynez Valley Airport ACIP 14 Project No. 8595 Authorization to Bid, Third District, as follows: a) Approve and authorize the Director of General Services to advertise for construction bids for the Security Enhancements and Runway 26 Threshold Marking Revisions, Airport Capital Improvement Program (ACIP) 3-06-0243-014-2015 (Grant 14)- Project Number 8595 at the Santa Ynez Valley Airport on the basis of the plans and specifications for the project on file with the General Services Department; and b) Determine that this project was found by your Board to be exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant State CEQA Guidelines Section 15301, that a Notice of Exemption (NOE) was filed on that basis on September 10, 2013, that the proposed actions are within the scope of that NOE, and that, therefore, no new environmental document is required.
