Title: Consider recommendations regarding Public Transportation Modernization, Improvement, and Service Enhancement Account Certifications and Assurances (PTMISEA), as follows: a) Adopt the Resolution that the County agrees to comply with all conditions and requirements set forth in the Certification and Assurances document and applicable statutes, regulations and guidelines for all PTMISEA funded transit projects; b) Authorize the Public Works Director to execute all required documents of the PTMISEA program and any amendment; c) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute the Authorized Agent form designating the Public Works Director as the County's authorized agent for purposes of the PTMISEA Program and delegating to the Public Works Director authority to execute for and on behalf of the County any actions necessary to secure PTMISEA funds; and d) Find that the proposed action does not constitute a "Project" within the meaning of California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), ...

Title

Consider recommendations regarding Public Transportation Modernization, Improvement, and Service Enhancement Account Certifications and Assurances (PTMISEA), as follows:

 

a) Adopt the Resolution that the County agrees to comply with all conditions and requirements set forth in the Certification and Assurances document and applicable statutes, regulations and guidelines for all PTMISEA funded transit projects;

 

b) Authorize the Public Works Director to execute all required documents of the PTMISEA program and any amendment;

 

c) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute the Authorized Agent form designating the Public Works Director as the County’s authorized agent for purposes of the PTMISEA Program and delegating to the Public Works Director authority to execute for and on behalf of the County any actions necessary to secure PTMISEA funds; and

 

d) Find that the proposed action does not constitute a “Project” within the meaning of California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), pursuant to 14 CCR 15378(b)(2) (continuing administrative or maintenance activities, such as purchases for supplies, personnel-related actions, general policy and procedure making), and approve and direct staff to file the Notice of  Exemption on that basis.
