Title: Consider recommendations regarding amending the County Code to prohibit parking of oversized vehicles in the Isla Vista Area, and removal of vehicles when posted, Third District, as follows: a) Approve the adoption (second reading) of an Ordinance amending Santa Barbara County Code Chapter 23, Section 23-13.12 to prohibit the parking of oversized vehicles between the hours of 10:00 pm and 6:00 am in the community of Isla Vista and to authorize the removal of oversized vehicles parked in violation of Santa Barbara County Code Chapter 23, Section 23-12.12; b) Find that the proposed action is for the operation and maintenance of existing public facilities, involving negligible, or no expansion of use beyond that which presently exists, that the proposed action is therefore exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act pursuant to 14 CCR 15301; and c) Approve and direct staff to file a Notice of Exemption.
